As a player, Casey has enjoyed success in all levels of soccer. He was a part of three Section III Championships and 3 Regional Championships for the Baldwinsville Bees. His senior season he was named to the All-CNY 1st Team for scoring 9 goals and 6 assists while Co-Captaining the side all the way to the State Finals.

Throughout Casey's club career he won two NYW State Cup Championships with the former Empire United. His U19 Empire team won the 2012 State Cup, and went on to be the first U19 boys team from New York West to win the Region I Championship to advance to Nationals (The Final 4). Casey participated in the Olympic Development Program and played a season for the Empire Academy .

After high school, Casey played for the Le Moyne Dolphins. During his freshman year he tallied 3 goals and 4 assists while starting 16 of 17 games earning him the honor of being named to the Northeast 10 All-Freshman Team. His sophomore season he moved into a more advanced roll; scoring 11 goals and 4 assists. For this accomplishment he was named to the All-Conference 2nd team and the All-Region 3rd team.

Since his sophomore season Casey has struggled with injury; forcing him to miss the past 2 seasons. He recently underwent ankle surgery and is recovering in order to complete his final year of eligibility at a new school. In his time off Casey has used his passion for the game to pursue coaching. He has earned his "E" Coaching License and will continue to advance his licensure. He looks forward to beginning his coaching career at Syracuse Fusion.
